The middle school student body votes for class officers each semester.  Last Wednesday, February 6, 2008, our 7th and 8th grade students campaigned for office. Listen in as our 8th graders present their election platforms for the Office of President.

The Student Council is an opportunity for the seventh and eighth grade students to participate in student government. The student body elects class officers each semester and class representatives each quarter. During weekly meetings, the Student Council plans all student activities conducted by its members. Among these activities are dances, free dress or thematic dress days, running the daily snack cart, providing monthly lunches, and fund-raising. The purpose of Student Council is to improve the students’ leadership skills while enabling all student body members to have a voice in their school.

Mrs. McDaniel is the Student Council advisor.
