December is a busy month in Kindergarten.  Our focus in literacy will be Letterbooks H, U, and B.  We will continue to work on blending sounds together to make words.  In our guided reading groups we are excited to be reading stories at our own levels.

We will be talking about Christmas traditions around the world.  We'll also be decorating graham cracker houses.  On Tuesday, December 3rd, we will be having our annual tree trimming during Chapel time.

Our Christmas program will be on Thursday, December 11th at 7:00pm.  Please have your child in our classroom at 6:30pm.
